I am obsessed with good wines and food, especially from my home country, Italy. My mission is chasing good taste around the world.
I live in California, where I spent the last and best years of my life spreading wine culture. In the U.S. I founded "The Italian Wine Girl" blog and La Com Wine Agency, a strategic P.R. and Communications firm focused on the wine industry.
I love writing. A lot.
Beside my blog, I am a columnist for Edible, SommJournal and Tasting Panel and other magazines, a reviewer for the Slow Wine guide.
I published my first book in Italy - Come il Vino ti Cambia la Vita (How wine can change your life) and working on my second for the U.S. readers.
I also like to talk. A lot.
My podcast, The Italian Wine Girl, is a collection of wine news, my experience, my wine educator and marketing expert's life and some other chit chat.
I studied and tasted wines. A lot.
I am a certified Sommelier with merit with the North American Sommelier Association and the World Sommelier Association, a Wset advanced sommelier; one of the few Vinitaly International Italian Wine Ambassadors in the world and a certified Wine Educator; I also serve as an official wine judge for the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and many others international wine competitions, I am a proud member of the International Circle of Wine Writers and of the Los Angeles Wine Writers Association and the Director of the Wine Education Program at the Pacific National Food and Beverage Museum in L.A.
I like to share. In many ways.
My Instagram community has grown a lot in the last years, I share my life, my wine tips through my channel The Italian Wine Girl. I also like to film my wine trips and post my "wine vlogs" on Youtube.
My latest project is Ti Porto in America, a platform dedicated to Italian producers willing to export in the U.S.
